One of the most versatile Latin female vocalists before the public today, Lucrecia’s performances are characterized by her intense, high energy in the tropical genre and her refined musicality in her interpretations of boleros, jazz and feeling.
Lucrecia’s range encompasses a wide spectrum including Latin, jazz, pop and electronic music. She has collaborated with such artists as Celia Cruz, Paquito D’Rivera, Chavela Vargas, Albita, Chano Dominguez, and Patato Valdes, among others.
In April of 2003, Lucrecia received the best Music Award in Spain for the single Mi gente (Animix) she wrote for her ninth album “Agua.”
A prolific arranger and published writer, she wrote and performed the soundtrack for the Oscar-nominated documentary Balseros in 2004.
